Our club is very conscious of the environment and community in which we operate. We always seek to enhance the reputation of the Four Wheel Driving fraternity as a whole by assisting organisations whilst having a good time ourselves!

Competition & Support for Other Clubs

Our club is actively involved in supporting other clubs to run 4WD related competitions.

We assist with the Pajero Challenge (24 Driving-Navigation Challenge). We provide catering and check in and check out facilities at quarter way each year. We have become famous for the doughnuts that we provide at this event with all participants looking forward them after five or so hours of driving in the event.

Each Christmas we assist Oxfam with Christmas Tree deliveries.

Big Brother / Big Sister

Our club will organise a day trip organised with the Big Brother, Big Sister organisation in which our members take a disadvantaged child and their "minder" in their vehicle for a 4WD day trip in the areas around Melbourne. The day is capped off with a BBQ in the bush and return to the pick-up point.

Bushfire Recovery

Wanderin' Four Wheelers also participats in helping farmers who are burnt out by the fires in the state. Club members help by removing damaged fencing and erecting new fences enabling the farmers to begin their re-stocking.

Camp Host

We assist Parks Victoria with the Camp Host Program. Our club members will setup camp at a Parks Victoria location in the bush over a weekend. During this time we provide information to people visiting the area and any advice that they may need.

Typo Station

Over the years our club has been involved with Typo Station an organisation where at risk youth can go to make a positive change in their lives.
